The real problem with this ranking is what the is the committee going to do if both Alabama and Ole Miss win all of their remaining games?

Ole Miss has two loses. I only think the head to head should matter if they both have one loss

To be completely fair, I think a two-loss SEC Champ Rebels team might still be good enough for a playoff spot, given that they would have beaten Alabama, LSU, State, a myriad of other quality conference opponents, and would have taken revenge against Florida in the SECCG. If Memphis finishes unbeaten, this makes Ole Miss' resume look great.

The Rebs are gone...Memphis did them in after Fla dismantled them. The committee takes into account that it took 5 turnovers and a fluke play to beat Alabama...it's just a fact.
