Like or hate the University of Alabama.. I don't see how you can really be from the south and hate on the band Alabama... unless you just hate country music and anything regarding growing up in the south or in the country.

I hate when they do shite like that. Everybody in the stadium enjoys it yet they get rid of it.
I'm an Auburn fan and even I thought it was pretty funny when they did "frick Auburn" everytime during last years Iron Bowl.

I don't know why, but I'm picturing the whole stadium in wheelchairs. Like a tremendous bingo hall almost. Very reverent...as if Loretta Lynn could appear at anytime. I had not been privy to that aspect of Bryant Denny before.

When it's played in the stadium do they start at the beginning of the song or after the first verse? I can't find a video on youtube that shows the beginning of the song.
