I mean, wtf does that actually mean? Yes, LSU beat Syracuse, on the road. Good god, it is sad that not only does OM worship moral victories for their own team, they worship moral victories for opponents of LSU. Wow.

Odd to see that cited as any kind of argument against LSU. We won that game by 10 points, with Syracuse scoring late after the issue was decided and LSU having a TD called back on a BS penalty.

Let's have a look at other SEC teams' experiences at Syracuse:

1991: Florida, 10-2 overall, 7-0 SEC, SEC Champions; LOST at Syracuse 38-21

1998: Tennessee, 13-0 overall, 8-0 SEC, SEC Champions, National Champions; WON at Syracuse 34-33, aided by a controversial PI penalty on 4th down on the last-minute winning drive

2001: Auburn, 7-5 overall, 5-3 SEC, played in the final game of the season for the SEC West title; LOST at Syracuse 31-14

Given how these other SEC teams, including two SEC champions, have performed in the Carrier Dome against Syracuse, how in the hell does a double digit win in a game that was never in doubt in the 4th quarter possibly qualify as a negative result for LSU?
