They have to hype up that rivalry to combat cognitive dissonance. The OSU tie is the anchor that keeps them locked to the Big 12.

I never did figure out why, exactly, Bedlam (or the RRS for that matter) are so significant.
I made up a bunch of bullshite to entertain myself while waiting, but never found out anything of substance... other than Sooners and Pokes fricking one another to death during family gatherings.
