Bama absolutely has to win the conference.
The committee has made a point as of last year, that all records being equal conf champions will be the tie breaker, period. I have no idea why people cannot get past this. At this point on , this season , only the SEC faithful believe that the SEC is greater than all others. Every other conference believes there is no difference, top heavy with a couple of teams.
If, Stanford, Utah, Mich State, tOSU, Iowa, Ok St, TCU, Baylor, OU, FSU, Clemson, UNC,Duke, Pitt, whoever wins a P5 conference with 1 loss or less they are in over a 1 loss non champion SEC team.

Teams with equal records are in no way equal just because of that fact, and no committee member is obligated to view it that way. It's about WHO you beat and WHO you lost (or didn't lose) to. You're 100% wrong. SOS is a massive part of their protocol.
