Its a sad day if you can't go to a game without having to worry about getting jumped by a bunch of drunken soccer hooligans. Congrats to the Gumps for that.

Why are you worried? I've been twice in State colors and didn't have an issue. I was in the Bama section on one occasion. It isn't like you're going to a Philly Eagles game.

I hope that people offer you a beer and something off their grill.

As long as you're not in the middle of a bunch of drunk mullets I think you're safe.

If he happens across the tailgate I'll be at, the Bama fans I'll be with will take him in and show him a great time. They will love to be around an LSU fan that isn't comfortable enough with them to talk shite.

OP, look for the stud LSU fan in yellow pants surrounded by Bama fans. I got your back and the group I am with are awesome.

In short, you will be force-made a Gump.

All of this is true. Every word of it. Except

. What the hell is that? Some kind of Cajun thing?

I think you'd be fine. If you want to end up like LarryTheGolfer's Dad.

I went with my friend's from Baton Rouge (LSU Fans) a few years ago. I heard more "Geaux Tigahs" and "Tigah Bait" than they heard Roll Tide.

You will be fine. Safe Travels..

Word. If LSU wins make sure to act like you are more angry than their fans. Mutter stuff like "Bear Bryant is rolling in his grave" and make crazy eyes.

I went to Bryan Denny in 2011. Before we had all our doors closed from parking the car there was a Bama fan cussing at us from across the street. On our walk to the gate we had about 20 different Bama fans cuss at us and a couple flipped us off. Every name in the book was used. I did hear the best response ever by an LSU fan to Bama fans, he said "Bear Bryant died of Aids", another older Bama fan told him "you are going to get beat up if you keep saying that"

Once in the stadium we sat on the upper edge of the LSU section. There were Bama fans to my left and behind us. In the row in front of us there were LSU fans. Had absouletly zero issues with the Bama fans inside the stadium. They were nice and a couple of Bama girls would give me high five when LSU would make a play.

You will probably run into more trouble outside the stadium then inside. Just remember it is all in fun and don't take it serious.

I am not trying to be funny or facetious. Would it be safe for me to sit in a predominantly Bama section of the stadium wearing LSU colors? I've been to BDS before but I was with my uncle and brothers in the LSU section. If I go by myself, should I wear neutral colors? I have a family and need to return home safely. Should I conceal carry? I would hate for my life to be put in jeopardy if somehow LSU were to pull out a victory.

No. You will not live. Stay home. Think of your family
