There's a couple of people over on the Bama board awhile back that believed they were somewhat similar in play style and ball skills. Not saying Minkah is in any way on HB's level at the moment, but personally I can see the similarities in certain areas of play and even stature. You have to admit he (Tyrann) was a big time baller. What do y'all think?

I don't know much about the comparison but I can tell you he's the best TF DB I've seen in a while(5-10 years).

Don't start this shite. Not even close.

How did HB play in the biggest game of his life? Is that what you want MF to become?

Did he smoke weed during it?

He wasn't a thug. He just likes smoking dope a little too much. It's disappointing, but it happens. Dude was ridiculous on the field, and is really a great guy.

You are over-inflating 2-3 instances of his performance that had no baring on the game other than field position for no score, or just being shown up by a receiver that was not that well known. He actually played pretty decent in GOTCII

Honey badger was a heisman contender as a true sophomore (pretty rare for a defensive guy)
I guess we'll see with Minkah. He's definitely an exciting dB to watch

Fitz is much better already.

Anddddd here we go again. The aggie script. Who's up next?

You're obviously too sensitive to engage in objective and intelligent conversation. The only post of mine that may have been a troll was the thug part, and even then I acknowledge that was a past endeavor and not indicative of his behavior now.
I can understand you being tired of similar topics, but that is most definitely not the case here.

I think Honey Badger was more of a play maker but we also have a lot more to go on with him. Both are fantastic players.

Yeah, that loss was totally on HB and not our offense's inability to move the ball.
As it was, our defense kept Bama out of the end zone until the 4th quarter.

I think it's a fair comparison. Glad we grabbed this kid out of New Jersey.

I have not seen MF play much yet. HoneyBadger had a really good year his freshman season but went all out his soph season and made the stage in NY for the Heisman... There was a poster someone created late in HB's soph season showing comparisons to Charles Woodson when he won the Heisman and HB had comparable and in some cases better stats but he did not play offense like CW.
Hard to make play for play comparisons but the progression is what to watch for.
