It's a shitty rivalry. NOBODY outside UT and Bama care about it. And that's the problem.

But it's OUR rivalry. It's historic, it's tradition. UT and UA look forward to this game every year. It's part of summer ending, and wearing a jacket to football games as opposed to flip-flops and a t-shirt.

It's as much a part of our lives as Thanksgiving dinner and gearing up the house for trick-or-treaters.

It's TSIO and a tradition of college football. I nearly got a DUI in 1994 for riding around cranking "Back in the Saddle" by Aerosmith. Of course in years following UT had other winning streaks :)

So you guys go get a room and quit screwing over the rest of us. We have played OREGON more than we've played Missouri, and we've been in the same conference with Mizzou for four years now. With current scheduling, and assuming we don't play Oregon again, it'll be the 2030s before we've played OUR OWN frickING CONFERENCE OPPONENT as much as we've played fricking Oregon. But by all means, let all 15 of you Bammers and Vols, with the entire 20 teeth among you all, keep your "tradition" alive.
