I am sure it helps somewhere but we dont need an SEC team losing to a non P5 as it will make the conference look weak in the eyes of the committee should there be more then 4 one loss conference winners.

There is no way Alabama doesn't get in in that scenario though. Alabama is too big of a name to leave out if they're one of the reasonable options.

should Bama get a lead it will be important not to sit on it but continue to run the offense. AU few years ago proves no matter how good our D is we cant sit on a lead with a powerful O like TAMU
