Surely you mean the character of a cry baby bitch. Quitting midseason is a horrible lesson to teach young men.

He clearly thinks that there are other coaches on their team that can do it better, so he's passing the torch to them to do what he can't. It seems he doesn't want to hold the team back, at least that's what I gather from it.

I don't agree all the way with that type of approach, but it's better than doing nothing about the issue. He feels he's lost it, so he takes himself out of the picture. Somewhere along this season it finally hit him.

That's a cop out. No other possible head coaches on the staff. He just doesn't want an extra 4-5 losses on his resume. He can't stand sucking, and is leaving others to deal with his mess immediately rather than taking responsibility for his creation.

Well I think it's a little foolish to make such a drastic assumption about something you know nothing about. But that's just me. Anyways, what good would it do to stay? If he doesn't feel like he's furthering the team at all, what's the point in sticking around for fun and goofing off when the program could be searching for a replacement now?

If he admits that he's leaving because he thinks he's lost it, then that right there is taking responsibility. There's no need to stick around to confirm what's already be confirmed. It won't prove anything more about this season failing, he'll only waste everybody's time sticking around just to look good on his way out.

I get that you're a Georgia fan so naturally you'd be asshurt towards Spurrier, but you're deliberately looking past the positive potential outcomes from his early retirement in order to validate your hate for him. I love it.
