One of the most engaging, good-spirited coaches ever. Wish he could have ended his coaching career on better terms, and wish like hell he were still coming to Kyle Field in a couple weeks. Just missed him

Here's to an outstanding coach and just a good all around dude

Will miss him, for sure. Kinda strange that he did this mid-season, though. A lot of folks blaming those of us who vocalized that it was time for him to retire, quoting when Spurrier said "He'd stay as long as he felt welcome."

And the commitment fall out has officially started...PJ Blue just tweeted he has decommited from Carolina.

Do you think he'll stay around the program in some capacity? A lot of Ags clamored to get rid of RC Slocum, but he's stayed in CStat and is still highly respected. Spurrier deserves the same, IMO.

It'll be rocky for awhile, but y'all will pull through.

Did you get Aggiebelle's email awhile back btw? I know you were going through some health issues of your own. Hope everything's ok on that front for you, btw

Yessir ... gotta love the guy. He did a lot for us.

He's going out on his own terms. I think the job was killing him. He didn't look good Friday when we were down there loading the buses. He looked down - even my wife noticed.

This puts us in the hunt for a good replacement - now it's up to Ray Tanner.

He would be an amazing replacement for Corso on Gameday.
