I'm always one of the level headed people trying to calm down the chicken littles after a loss, but if we lose this game I'm going full on melt mode.

Auburn is worse than Toledo, that much is clear to me. With their horrid QB situation at Auburn and our DB's propensity to ballhawk shitty passes, they absolutely should not beat us through the air. We can shut down their run game no problem. Our biggest worries in this game, which still aren't huge worries, are all offensive. Their D isn't great by any stretch of the imagination, but our offense has been pretty limited at times even against shitty Ds.

If we don't come away with the W after 2 weeks to prepare, against Bielema's personal super bowl, then this team's problems run deeper than just inadequate personnel. BB wouldn't be fired after the game, or possibly even after the season, but losing would be the beginning of the death-spiral for his coaching career here.

this is exactly why I said I would start the fire bert board. you will see me literally lose it. this is a game we should win. this is the worst auburn team for a while so he better run the score up while he can.

This is my mindset.

I've melted pretty hard at a few points this season, but I always come back around on about Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm still in Bert's corner, but if we lose this game at home with 2 weeks to prepare in a year in which they're extremely vulnerable, I'll be completely done with Bert, and nothing would bring me back short of our team wrecking shite next year and pulling 10 wins out of their arse.

Honestly, not only can I see us losing this game, but I see it transpiring like too many others in the Bielema era -- us dominating the game only to unceremoniously blow a lead in the fourth quarter. What's worse is that I feel like he'd pretty much lose the entire fan base if he fell to 0-3 against Gus, and things could get ugly in that case given his propensity for social media and press conference theatrics.

This could very well be a/the watershed game for the Bielema era.
