How does it happen that Bama plays so many more teams with a bye than anyone...

...else?

Is it that the office is in Birmingham and they're overcompensating for the perception of bias?

only fair, nick saban made a deal with the devil to always have a good football team so other teams obviously have to be prepared.

Honestly, if I were a bama fan I wouldn't be happy about it. It's pretty unfair.

I thought that someone ran the statistics that showed having a bye week before a game was not an advantage?

How many will they have this year?

How many consecutively?

What are the numbers like for other teams?

There is a reason so many teams schedule Bama after a bye

Nothing but fear out of Tuscaloosa this October. I miss the old over- confident Gump. This squishy scaredy-cat Gump doesn't work for me.

You get every other thing you want. It's the only thing the league has refused to yield on. Nick was bitching about it a few years ago until they reminded him of all the other perks he gets

We can only play 3 SEC opponents that are coming off a bye. I don't think a bye inherently helps or hurts really. It's time to heal up, but the team can come out of it a bit rusty.

I don't think anyone is scared...especially of LSU...and especially since Bama also has a bye before that game.

If anything, LSU is the one team Bama shouldn't be scared of for this very reason.
