I very much doubt they were even that concerned with it by the second quarter. If they were, that is another failure with the coaching staff for not getting the guys focused again.
Edit: I can in no way vouch for our courageous and awesome soldiers in the military, but I would think if I were, and one of my fellow soldiers was badly injured, I would fight that much harder for him.
Can somebody testify to this? Or am I off base here?

I highly doubt it.
I'm certain they were in shock and not very highly motivated just like most UGA fans were.
Did you think highly motivated thoughts about UGA winning the game immediately after Chubb was injured?
