Easy to say when you don't have a gun pointed at you.

Shock and fear takes over for people in those moments. Nobody who hasn't experienced it really has any right to say what they would do, because you simply don't know.

I'm 100% against gun control as a hunter and a recreation shooter. Saying that I think there should definitely be mental health reports similar to a criminal report like a felon. For instance if they have seen a professional, the professional would have access to deem the able or unable. Wouldnt say this guy is a psycho, just not equipped to own a gun.

While you're correct, people that get past shock and fear do what they have been taught or trained to do. We have raised a couple of generations of people that have been taught to not resist, and now we are not resisting even as gunmen mow us down.

I for one will teach my children to use their judgement to determine if they need to resist to save their lives, and hope for the best. What I won't do is teach them to do whatever the gunman says. It's not working anymore.
