When's the last time Bama shut down a legitimately elite offense? For me, it was Arkansas 2011. They've struggled against every top offense since that time. IT won't take long to list them. There were the Aggy teams with Manziel, Malzahn's Auburn teams, CUM's Ohio State team last year, Oklahoma, Georgia in the 2012 SEC Championship Game and Ole Miss this year. They've struggled against them all.

I would take this front 7 over that front 7. Plus your getting to look back at a whole season of results. Including a dominating performance in BCSCG.

That team also failed to come up with a whole lot of turnovers. In fact an excuse we used was the fact that not to many teams ever got past third down enough for us to get turnovers.

They also rarely were put in bad situations due to turnovers.

They also and this is key here had a loss. In my eyes they were more at fault for not stopping the option and Jordan Jefferson than this years d for the Ole Miss loss.

So lets sit back and watch this d for a whole year and then compare all time D's.
