I remember them having that discussion and in that thread and that time I linked to Ice Cold's post relating to a ban bet made between Ocean and some other posters wherein Ice Cold said TD didn't enforce ban bets. So in light of that pronouncement, my view of it in the GSB thread was that it would be a scout's honor type of thing. LINK

So I would stick with what I said then that it is a scout's honor type of thing and that it would be against TD's stated policy to enforce it. It would be DGD's call of course as admin and he can decide who gets kicked off or placed in time out for whatever reason but I don't know that it can be for a reason inconsistent with what TD said was their policy. That would be getting on pretty shaky ground especially considering that people usually get banned from team boards for things like stirring the pot and making incendiary posts which are not proper on a team board. In those matters the admins pretty much have absolute discretion from what I've seen.

Just my 2 pennies on the matter.
