Really going out on a limb here, aren't you?

No? It's an accurate analysis.

last couple of years? this is his second year

He's been at Vandy for 1 year and 3 games.
Considering what James Franklin left him with, he's doing alright.
He'll have an SEC win before Arkansas does.

I saw a list of stats the other day and Vandy is showing marked improvement in several areas.
Mason was thrown into a bad situation last year, i.e. talent on campus and recruiting class decimated by Franklin's departure.
He made several mistakes his first year, but by taking over defense and getting coaches on staff for their resumes and not because they're friends of his has helped.
Assuming they end with a better record this year and they continue to show improvement next year and the year after, I think he gets a little time.

One year. And showing improvement in year 2.
Mississippi fans are melting after this Bama win.

Why do you hate black people so much?

They're much improved (at least on defense) this year. If he doesn't win a conference game he'll probably be done, but as of now I think they will (and should) keep him at least until next year.

Mason has made a big difference in the defense this year. Their biggest problem is having a QB that makes multiple horrible decisions per game.

Well, the last 4 Vandy coaches have all beat Ole Miss, so you should hope he gets at least one more year or your perfect season is in trouble. Yes, even Robbie Caldwell pulled it off.

And it doesn't help that they lost 2 or 3 key starters on offense to injury in the spring. I want to say a receiver and 2 lineman.

His defense is good. If the QB comes around they will be middle of the pack next season.

I was going to post 41-3 but I felt bad because you are Vandy.

I heard he was going to have it until he doesn't have it.

Congrats on beating a horrible Vandy team.
Hopefully Ole Miss gets to Atlanta in December. That way people can actually say "act like you've been there before."

Karl Dorrell and Stephen Rivers are definitely worth a couple TDs by jettisoning them. Mason as DC is good for at least 10 points. 31-17 sounds like a fair prediction...but ya never know in college football.

Leading returning WR CJ Duncan and starting LT Andrew Jelks went down pre-season. We lost TE and safety valve DeAndre Woods last week too. All were season-ending ACLs.

Auburn has a losing record against Vandy.
