there isn't any career metric which LF is better than NC, aside from KO returns which NC doesn't do. You are using 2 games from LF to "put this to rest", which is about the most unbelievably fricking retarded argument I've ever heard.
I like LSU fans, I really do IRL, but the last 12 months have really made me hate the absolute shite out of all of you. 95% of you suck so, so bad.
They're both a grand total of 2 (and 3 in NC's case) games into their 2nd year of their collegiate careers. Talking about their "career metrics," is like talking about an intern's work history on their resume.
The point is that Chubb's a great back. Fournette is a notch above. It doesn't take "career metrics," in order to establish a hierarchy and I think you're an intelligent person. Definitely intelligent enough to agree with me on that.

Your fanbase's collective, constant bloviating and puffing out your chest like an 18 year old after he wore his first extra small Under Armour shirt, brand new lifting gloves to the gym after popping his first creatine tablet over the last year or so re: Chubb has been just as insufferable for LSU Fans who knew what Fournette would eventually become.
The lack of context and perspective here on your part is humorous. You need to look in the mirror at your own fanbase before you talk about how much this topic makes you hate ours. You guys were doing it way before we were, baw.

will wait until the end of the season to judge, but if Fournette put up considerably better numbers this year, what will your opinion be? will you admit he's better or will you try to use last year as a reason chubb is better? serious question

I don't think WG Dawg will give up on this one.

well, after last season NC was far, and I mean FAR, better in pretty much every conceivable category. Yet LSU fans only pointed to the intangible "potential", along with other bullshite like miles playcalling and whatnot. So, basically I and other folks have learned that LSU fans will bend the argument any which way they can to make it look better for LF.

it would be that LF is as good or better than NC. Idk why yall think I'm such a homer, I'm not. I'm a realist. I base my opinions on stats, data, and what I can actaully see. Last year NC was so, so, soooooo unblieveably better than LF. It wasn't even remotely close. Yet LSU fans called UGA fans homers for not seeing lf's "potential". This whole entire time, every UGA fan on here has acknowledged that LF pretty much has a higher ceiling, he just hasn't reached it yet.
Regarding you rquestion above, if LF contitnues to ball out as he has so far, I have no problem whatsoever in saying that he's had the better year. Why would I try to lie about facts?
quote:
will you admit he's better
Well, in 2014 he was undeniably not better. If he keeps up his pace (keep in mind, we're not even talking about hwat chubb might do this year) sure I'm perfectly rationaly enough to admit someone is better
quote:
or will you try to use last year as a reason chubb is better?
this is such a silly question. Lf has played 2 games in '15. Both players played 13 games in 14 and we saw for damn sure who was better. I can't rightly say who is better 3 months from now because that's a lot of data we haven't seen yet.
Bottom line...LSu fans are ridiculously insecure and need constant validation that their highly rated prospect is actually good. Nobody has said LF isnt' good; everyone knows he IS really good and has unlimited potential. It just so happens there's another guy that has done better than he has the last 13 months. Sorry I'm not sorry.

You sound pretty perturbed. You should take a couple of deep breaths and just embrace the Buga.
BTW, I see lots of LF v Chubb threads started by UGA fans on here.

So you value 2 games into year 2 over 12 games of year 1 lol

Idk any 2 year interns. And it's funny that LSU fans now want to compldtely disregard both players' freshman years. Gee, wonder why?

THERE IS LITERALLY NOTHING that would indicate lf is better than chubb. Seriously, not a single thing, aside from tray matthew's attempting to trampoline helmet tackle lf leading to an espn highlight. Ya know what really matters? data. numbers. things we can actaully look at rather than "potential". And lf isn't close to chhubb.

cjubbb wasn't even the highest ranked RB in UGA's draft class that year. Chubb was a workmanlike, small town kid who came in and went to work, was 3rd string starting his freshman steason, and didn't start until game like 5. whereas lf was the #1 overall player and did the fricking heisman pose aginst lt. Don't even try to compare our fanmbases expectation for nc to yours for lf.

Melt all you want. No one on here cares about you second tier RB.
And neither will the Heisman voters.

As an unbiased observer I really can't say one guy is better than the other at this point. At the end of the season I still might not be able to declare either as the better back. I think LSU is more dependent on LF than UGA is on NC. If they both went out for the season it would hurt Lsu more due to style of play and the fact I believe UGA has better back ups, I AM NOT SAYING THAT LSU DOESN'T HAVE GOOD BACK UPS.
Imo LF will end up with better stats this year due to Lsu ridding him hard and he'll get 25 carries a game, as he should. Be is a man child BEAST.
Too close to declare At this point.

people like you are why good posters don't post. Having actual discussions backed up by reasons more in depth that "u mad?" isn't melting.
You idiot.

I think it would be cool if lsu and uga met in the seccg. what a matchup! I could tell my grandchildren about this except their all girls.

Definitely agree here. Illustrating a point with more than just a hand signal equates to a melt. Jesus...

It's the SEC rant. It's a pile of lowbrow shite if you haven't noticed. Most threads are passive aggressive spinning or trolling other fanbases.
The reality is that many of us are CPAs, lawyers, physicians, or college kids of womanlike stature and athleticism. The OT admission standards do not apply to this board. Many of us stand under 6 ft tall, could scarcely break 6 on the 40, can't bench our body weight, and are older than the players that are discussed on this forum. We live vicariously through players with whom we have no real association but project ourselves onto them due to the tribalistic nature of Man. And it's fun as shite. It's a hobby.
You need to realize that the relative respect the player on your favorite team garners from a bunch of other dorks on the internet means very little.

eta. and to use the lack of respect given to said player in debate with other members of a fanbase as the reason you hate "95%" of those associated is prima facie evidence that you take this too seriously. Step back and have perspective is all I'm saying. Too many times it takes people posting a tragic occurrence before we all say, "it really puts things in perspective, it's just a game". Why not have that attitude all the time? Debate is one thing, but getting really worked up to the point of "hate" is another.

Notwithstanding that I never said this, nor have I even made a post or series of posts pertaining to the Chubb Fournette debate, the point of my post was obviously completely lost on you.
