I guarantee I have more experience with Bama fans than you do LSU fans. So forgive me if I assume your opinion is quite a bit less reliable.

Which games did you attend in LSU?

So the attacker was walking with his wife and little girls. We have a future father of the year here.

Keep up voting the defenders of the crimson.

I don't care. I'm not arguing with you. This shite is commonplace, I could give a shite less how you feel about it.

I have seen all the exaggerated stories of LSU fan violence, our AD even sent letters of apology for things that didn't happen (I'm looking at you 2001 Auburn). I only really judge on the things I have witnessed first hand, and even minus the national news stories, I've seen my fair share of horrible shite from Bama fans. At home and twice on the road.

This might piss you off even more, I've been to a blowout LSU win in T-Town, an overtime win in T-town ,and a close win in Auburn... Auburn fans outclassed you losers by a factor of 10. More likely to help you out, than shake a Pom Pom in your face. More likely to give you a ride to the stadium than to jump out and sucker punch you, and way more likely to tell you "good game" than to tell you "frick you, go home"

Incident was wrong and what Bama fan did was inexcusable. However, ole miss fan should know better then chanting hotty toddy on the road after a victory. He was asking for trouble.

No matter where you go on the road I always assume that 10% of the crowd is capable of this after a loss. Keep your mouth shut and get the hell out of there. Celebrate in the car.

Lol I don't know why this made me chuckle.

Seriously though, hope he's OK. Dangerous territory there after a bama loss.

Sorry, but I'm not a pussy. I'm not an obnoxious a-hole about it, but after a victory like that, I think a guy should be entitled to say the school's catch phrase a few times. If I do anything different than I would do at Ole Miss' campus, then I'm giving into the terrorists. Terrorists can not be tolerated.

Yep I agree while reading this story I seem to recall an almost identical story (maybe true I'm not saying it's not) yearly since I read about this happening to an LSU fan in Morgantown years ago. Again that initial story may be true I have no idea but this exact same thing is told every year about some game or more so it either always was or has become an urban legend. I was at that bar by the Pizza Hut for hours around that time and saw nothing like that. I was there as I have a stepkid who goes to ole miss and one of mine at Alabama. No one bothered the people with us wearing ole
Miss gear and other then one or two FUs said while not even looking there way no one bothered to plethora of ole
Miss fans walking by yelling hotty toddy either.

Disagree. Although, I understand being smart when you are leaving a road game, having to cower to the fear of someone assaulting you on a college campus for a cheer that should be expected by tv home team is a sad thing.

Personally, I keep my head on a swivel on road trips, but if we had a hotty toddy type cheer, I'd shout it with others anywhere.

Funny, Bama fans have no trouble going on the road to holler "rammer jammer" after a road win... Should they expect to be assaulted?

No. Obviously Bama fans have more experience with straight violence. We expect to go anywhere we want and do anything we want. You submissive pusses cower before us as we please your women in ways you couldn't imagine. This is such a rediculous thread. I regret ever getting involved.

Whatever keeps other fanbases delusional and happy about their own fans, I suppose.

It's really quite sad.

haven't upvoted yet. and again ill say, the actions of a fanbase don't reflect on me or effect my personal outlook.

So you're linking this story where no one got hurt, arrested, or even touched, and you think it's somewhat comparable?

Where no school property was destroyed, buildings deliberately sabotaged, or fans murdered, and you think it's even a blip on the radar compared to your fan base's well-documented misdeeds?

Again, your fan base will never learn better if you keep excusing or deflecting.

Pow! Right in the kisser. But for real, I bet there is more to it. Maybe the Mississippi fan said things inappropriate for little girls to hear and pops reacted? Or maybe another bi polar Bama fan just did what they do best. Hope the visiting fan is OK.
