No one that goes arse to Mouth and drinks from a Jizz Jar will ever earn respect....
But for real... Win something, win upsets, be a tough competitive team year in and year out.... Right now you are just another Arky, SC, Ole Miss, etc. Tough some years, but usually can be counted as a win for the big dogs.

I moved to Texas (Austin) about 7 months ago and I've noticed Aggies are pretty much the butt of every joke. Everyone here laughs at anything and everything A&M.

Statements like that are the perfect example of why the horns would never volunteer to rub elbows with the SEC.
To be blunt, the juvenile/not funny/local yokel element is a big-time turn-off to anyone outside of the original SEC members.
