So,to say that Spurrier and Meyer carried no risk is foolish

When did I ever say that there was "no risk"?You're the one that stated there was a "ton of risk"

Since when?Jesus dude,do you have ANY idea of the restrictions of our program compared to UT,Bama,LSU,
or AU.We've NEVER had the numbers of any of those programs. You do know that I would assume?

I want our program to maximize EVERY advantage we have within the rules.

CMR has been to the SECCG 1/3 of his time as our coach.Only Saban has a higher percentage.

OK,so you don't want to get rid of CMR but you just want to bitch about everything in the program?Correct?

Please give me solutions/replacedments you'd like to make?

You didn't and I didn't subscribe that to you. Someone else did and that is what I responded to.

That was the only criteria I could detect from your previous posts. The restrictions are moot, they are what they are. Maybe your point is that since we have greater restrictions be happy with lesser results. I know I have adjusted my expectations.

I am not bitching about everything in the program. If you had comprehension abilities you would understand that. In fact please tell me where I bitched about the program. I didn't ask for change of any kind.

My 2 points are simple:

1) Your position that you should never change coaches because the new coach could be worse means that you would never change coaches as you could always do worse even if you were winning 1 game a year.

Under that criteria Goff would still be at UGA, Shula at Bama, Muschamp at Fla etc.

That is pretty stupid. You should makes those type of decisions based on what you want out of the program. Some programs want to compete at the highest level. Some programs demand to compete for national championships, some do not. I am afraid we fall into the latter camp.

2) Adjust your expectations. I have. After 15 years under Richt, the program's success rate should be pretty well understood. I believe I understand it. Probably going to lose to 1 or 2 teams we shouldn't, and lose to 2 more that shouldn't be that surprising.

If you are content with 9 to 10 wins (and I infer less at least down to 6), than that is AOK. I don't have a problem with that. As I have said more than once, I have adjusted my expectations to that level for sure as I believe that is exactly what you are going to get.

So, get comfortable with the Florida bowls, the Gator, the Independence, etc. That is not bad, but I am afraid that is where we will be.

So, do an exorcise for me. Break the SEC into fourths based on the last ten years of performance. Ignore AM and Missou as they just joined. Top tier, second tier, etc. That should tell you something. And perhaps you.
