Early to mid-90s were really rough for Arkansas. '92 lost to The Citadel, then they had three in-a-row losses to SMU in '95, '96, and '97.

yep, amazingly we still won the west in 95 even with an SMU loss. West was shite in the 90s

Yea, we won 10 games in '89, but only won 3 in '90, after Hatfield left. The fist half of that decade was super rough for us.
In contrast, '12 was just a rebuilding year, imo. It was expected and too much has been made out of it by the media.
