Last thing I wanted for him was another left coast freak festival team to pick him up.

Maybe back in KC he could have gotten himself straightened out, oh well, hope it works regardless.

I see he had an offer from the Rams,, ,should have picked them, even if they won't be in Mo that much longer.

Yeah. Cause in KC they would get him right even if he didn't want too.

I haven't read your link. Maybe he likes the area, maybe he has plans to go back home to SF in time. Maybe he is smart and isn't a fan of a franchise that hasn't accomplished anything in his life.

A match made in heaven. Good thing Oakland is such an upstanding place to be, like Salt Lake only further west, or I'd be worried for him.

O MY GOD, he had a chance to go to the rams? Would that be the greatest Dline is the history of football by at least 12 miles?!?!?

in the heartland he might have had a few people around him who genuinely care about him to help him out.. you can be sure out there he won't.

that's all I'm sayin

Ah dammit.

This is a bad idea. They will ruin him.

Barely avoided this with Maclin when a lot of people thought the Raiders might draft him. Instead they killed Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Yep. I was hoping he'd land with a more reputable program that would actually help him. This has disaster written all over it. I wish him the best, but this is the last place I'd hoped he'd land.

I'm not understanding the negativity. When was the last time a Raider player was in trouble? No DUI's, Domestic Violence, drug offences. Their playing record is not impressive, but their character can't be questioned.

At least 1 player on the raiders gets arrested every year.

2014 - 1
2013 - 3
2012 - 1
2011 - 4
2010 - 0
2009 - 1

Idk if that's a little or a lot per team, but what I do know is for someone who gets in trouble A LOT, this doesn't help.

Now run the numbers of all 53 players on every team every year, and tell me that somehow the Raiders are riskier than the average NFL team. Also there's the fact that NO TEAM is responsible for what a player does in his own time. Michael Vick wasn't a reflection of the Falcons or Hernandez of New England. I think people confuse on field success with team character.

Oakland is where you go to kill your career. With all of Aldon's off-field problems, creating on-field problems is the last thing he should be doing.
