Ehh...I support whoever plays for us, but I always felt Grier had the biggest upside. I'd rather put in the guy with the most potential, because 2016 is more important than 2015. Grier has a better arm and is more accurate. Harris is a better athlete. Just thought he had an average arm. If he has a better looking throw though, the SEC is in trouble. Harris has insanely good running ability in open space, if his arm has improved Florida could give some people trouble.

Your probly right if Treon is really the starter for the season. Hopefully Grier wins the job or it's another year of watching junk.

Fwiw, Treon Harris and Brandon Harris stats are eerily similar last year.
LSU fans expect Brandon to make a leap.
Treon is capable of doing that as well.

Grier is every bit good of a runner as Harris though, Grier had 3,000 yards and 31 rushing TDs in high school.

Coach Mac also said don't read too much into this.

Another year of junk? Treon went 4-2 as a starter and could've been 6-0 if UF didn't blow it vs. Cocky and FSU.

Seems like Treon had much more playing time considering Harris started 1 game.

I don't think most of us said that.
Just wondering though, did you go to community college?

McElwain has always said from spring camp to now that it wasn't about measurables and who can make this throw and that throw. It was going to be about who moved the offense better, elevated the players around him and how they handled key situations. Reading into that I always thought that favored Treon a bit more.

I saw the Will Grier pic, and for a moment I thought Kerwin Bell was back.

Hard to accumulate stats while you're handing the ball off.

That actually worries me then. This team is not good enough to go to Atlanta. So who cares about this year. Honestly, I don't want to try to win this year and go all in on it. This team isn't strong enough to win it all. SO build for next year when we have far more experience. Grier is the better passer of the two that's obvious from every report I've seen. Harris is more athletic, but Grier can run too. I don't want to see 10-20 type games. Sick of them. I want a QB who puts the ball between the numbers. Hopefully Harris has improved his accuracy. If so I'm all in for the kid. But his tape last year was not all that great overall. Mind you it was in Muschamp's death trap to all offensive players though

And this is really it. Let's see how Treon is with a proven offensive mind.

What florida fans, i live in the heart of gator country or what use to be gator country the noles have taken that shite n made you their bitch.

Well we can't blame Treon for struggling as a True Freshman last year. That was the staffs fault for not recruiting enough QBs ahead of him and having to get thrown into that shitshow of an offense that quite frankly Tom Brady wouldn't of had success in.

Brevard? Since when was Brevard "The Heart of Gator Country"?

Not really sure why our QB situation is in anyway worse than LSU, UGA or Bama's-- two highly rated underclassmen are battling it out, one of whom was the starter for roughly half the season last year and only lost twice- once in OT and once after failing to complete a two minute drill against the defending national champions on the road.
