Exactly and he's never had to field a defense after a smoke and mirrors offense.

We have had no trouble scoring on his defenses.

So, at best, it's an unknown, right? A great defense can be fielded even if the offense is HUNH. Clemson just accomplished that feat with Chad Morris running the offense.

Gus Malzahn has no trouble scoring on Nick Saban and Kirby Smart. I guess it'll be a high scoring game.

Interesting. Gus has had no trouble scoring on your defense.

In his first two years (you always like to exclude 2010) he has accumulated 1023 yds and 66 pts. Last year, the Tigers scored 44 points, rolled up 630 total yards -- the most ever gained against an Alabama defense. Oh right, that was garbage points.

We have definitely seen an improvement in recruiting with Will, I suspect we may see an improvement in defense.

Can't wait to find out
