Since you can't really deny that Alabama, at the moment, is the pinnacle of SEC football, who has the best chance to beat them?

No matter how shitty LSU is, they always seem to play Alabama hard. A good example is 2008 LSU. Mediocre by LSU standards and they played a 12-2 Bama team to the bitter end in Death Valley. One the other hand, you've got Auburn in JHS....which for some reason Alabama sucks at.

ETA: Georgia in all honestly will probably be a loss, considering it will be in Athens and UGA has an equal or slightly better talent on offense than Bama does.

ETA 2: Hit the damn submit button halfway into the post instead of the preview and it forced me to water down this post more than I wanted too.
Discuss.

Alabama is going 2-2 vs the combination of LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia

Auburn will be hot garbage this year. I see Arkansas, Georgia, and LSU taking out the tide this year

TAMU has a good chance to be 5-0 with a week off before Bama rolls in. Bama plays a physical Arkansas team the week before that game.

It's so strange to me that LSU fans are so very confident in their team this year, despite no apparent improvement in the offense and a downgrade at DC.

I think Ole Miss beats Bama this year pretty good.

I do not understand why so many people are discounting Ole Miss. Their defense will still be really good and Alabama will have a talented, yet less experienced offense that I am sure the Ole Miss D is eager to attack.

I know the Ole Miss offense is still a huge question mark, but what if it is really good this year?

I do not look forward to my team playing them if they get a running game and their O line gels.

We return more starters than we have in a very long time. Our defense is still elite our skill guys are crazy good. BH has taken huge leaps this offseason and we got Coach O. Reports out of fall camp have been superbly optimistic. You have to remember that the 2014 team was breaking in a totally new offense with little to no experience.

This might be the toughest West race since '10.

Is that some sort of weird synergy definition?

It means that your outside perception of LSUs individual parts does not affect what the team is as a whole.

Most likely? I think Georgia is most likely but it's possible to lose to any west team. Lol but we may be the best 7-5 team in the country. I think we likely win 10 or 11 ganes but it will be a task.

I suppose I find it confusing to apply Gestalt principles to football as a rationale for why your team will be fantastic, despite appearing to have no empirical reason to believe it.
