Louisiana folks, what can you tell me about this guy?
Apparently had to sit out his Junior season after transferring, coaches saw some film on him from spring practices and offered immediately.

That's what I read the other day when we offered him. Scouts were raving about his size and strength and think he blows up this year.

I find it strange. Our coaches didn't think enough of him to offer and they scrutinize players closely before offering. Tennessee recruits better and is stacked on the DL, but offers what appears to be a project? Does he have a great teammate or something?
Regardless, it'll be fun hearing "It's Christmas time!"
edit: I forgot that we're being very picking with who we offer on the DL this year, so I'm sure that has something to do us not offering. We already have Capps, Guidry and likely will have Agim soon. We're also in on Daniels and several other 4* DL players. Not to mention that we already have good depth on the DL.
Regardless, it'll be fun hearing "It's Christmas time!"

Expect a big bump for Christmas-Giles on all of the recruiting websites soon.
I doubt the staff evaluates his talent by looking at his star ratings on all of the recruiting websites. They seem to value him over most other DT prospects, seeing as how they took his commitment this early.

Vols fans- you got a steal
plus you have a player that gives you an 'in' to one of the most talent rich high school's in the country.
no doubt you will be recruiting kids from st. aug each and every year so taking a kid from there can never hurt
