There is no such thing as "transgender". Either you're born with a dick and balls, or you're born with a vagina. You are whatever you're born with for life. No amount of "identifying" or even surgery will ever change what a person is.

And all this time I thought family restrooms were for changing diapers and such. Had no idea they were really there so I wouldn't have to watch Joe drop his lace thong and squat over the urinal in the men's room.

I'm not doubting the stat, it's more than likely true just given the numbers game, I was more laughing at this guy bringing it up to support why he needs a private bathroom in the library. That would be like me telling my boss that statistically speaking rooms without windows are more dangerous in the event of a fire, so I need a corner office.

I'll start by saying I have a live and let live mentality towards everyone.
HOWEVER, I do find it odd that transgender people tie their whole personal identity to their sexuality or gender preference. Why does it have to be such a big deal and why should I care? Do whatever you want but please continue to work and contribute to society like everyone else.
You're transgender, fine. Stop talking about it all the time and get back to work.
When they do shite like invent new pronouns (wtf?) it only widens the divide between them and the rest of society. If they want to be treated like normal people, they should start acting like it! If they just carry on with their day to day lives, most people will leave them alone.
It's like some of them WANT to be persecuted, so they come up with new ways to be offended. If someone has a bulge and a five o'clock shadow, but they get offended if you call them "he," that's their problem.

I believe we're in the midst of a political correctness bubble. Just like all the other bubbles you see in various aspects of society, they all burst at some point.
Eventually enough people are going to get fed up with walking on eggshells all the time trying not to offend people, the bubble will burst, and we can start to get back to a sense of normalcy.
