Oconee Hill Cemetery >>>>>>>>>>> Evergreen. Much more beautiful cemetery and it's the headquarters for UGA lettermen tailgates. One of my favorite things every year is eating BBQ in that cemetery.
I don't care to tailgate in a skull orchard.

It would probably be packed with visitors wondering why we buried Joe Namath alive.

Lexington Cemetery was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (the guy who designed Central Park) and is the defacto nicest "park" in the city. It was not uncommon a generation or 2 ago to find folks having a picnic after sunday church in the plots with their deceased relatives. It really is a beautiful place and you still see folks walking and jogging the varied paths.

If your family has deep roots in the SEC you may find some of your ancient relatives buried here. Same for Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville which is much bigger but not as pretty.
