Has your team ever started a true FR QB?

If so, what were the results?
Drew Lock has been absolutely tearing it up during fall camp, while Mauk has been a mixed bag (having a good day today though).
I still think there is about a 1% chance Pinkel would do it, but just curious about the history of true FR QB in the SEC.

Mustain- We had a good record with him at qb, everyone knows the story HDN/Gus/Mitch's mom/FOIA etc. He went from hero to zero (dealing fake drugs) maybe now back to decent I have no idea.

Tommy Hodson:

During Hodson's freshman season (1986), he led LSU to its first AP Top 10 finish since 1970 and its first SEC Championship since 1970. In Hodson's first game, he led #14 LSU to a 35-17 victory over #7 Texas A&M (televised by ESPN). Later in the season, Hodson led #18 LSU to a 14-10 victory at #6 Alabama (televised by ESPN).

What were some numbers for these guys?

Yes. Peyton Manning, Tyler Bray, Dobbs, and Casey Clausen I believe too.
I'd be pretty comfortable with Dormady running the offense this year as a true freshman as well, but his dad was his HS coach and he implemented some of UT's play book into his high school offense. Dormady was also an EE.
You can always expect some WTF moments with a true freshman at QB. Good to know the future looks bright at the QB though

(Hodson wasn't a TFr in '88, but that still doesn't stop me from being pissed off whenever I see his name)

to begin the season or just period?
Stafford played a bunch in 06 but he didn't start game 1. The plan was to ease him along slowly but our starter got hurt on the 2nd drive in game 2 so he basically had to start.
