Thank God Pruitt came along to Bama ise our thinking about oversigning...this is the most amount of scholarship players we've entered a season with in a long, long time and we're putting together our best back to back. recruiting years in a while.

Does this mean Georgia can't use their holier than thou excuse for consistently underachieving?

Its getting closer and closer to that, but it depends on if we suspend a group of guys for a huge game after a 1st failed drug test or not.

As far as a top to bottom roster it is and will be more so next year. Our roster mgt in years past had been incredibly poor. Some of it due to CMR and some due to our Athletic Dept policies.

Look no further than the 2012 SECCG.We had perhaps 66 scholarship players on our roster compared to 80+ for Bama (I'm assuming it was a full 85 but don't know for sure)

This needs to be repeated over and over. In 2012 we were 5 yards away from a mnc. USC was at the height of their probation and in turmoil. They had more scholarship players than we did. Think 20 extra players in that game plus "trying out" about 20 more over the previous 4 year period might have tilted that razor thin outcome??

CMR isn't close to being the biggest problem at UGA.

I'm 2½ inches short of being a major porn star.

Almost does not count.

Savage, sigh....that had nothing to do with the point I was trying to make. But hayull, you guys haven't been 5 games from a MNC In 20 yrs so I'll give you a mulligan.

Btw- if you give your wife 4 inches 3 times is that like giving her 12? Ummm, my friend wants to know.

We actually have one of those newfangled crystal footballs that says we got a lot closer than 5 games.

Thankfully, I'll never have know the answer to that one.

How many of those players have been cut/transferred from UT from those classes? 12 or more? They're nowhere near competing for a title of any kind unless it involves women sports.

The idea that Georgia didn't over sign before Pruitt is bs anyway. Just like many of the other excuses Georgia fans make for their failures.

Georgia signed 27 players in 2010 and 32 players in 2013. Both years were before Pruitt.

You know we're allowed to have 85 players right? Don't talk about shat you know nothing about. Makes you look dumb. Just said we had 66 players in 2012. Remove Sr's and attrition and we still weren't at 85 in 2013 including our class of 32.

I don't think you know what oversigning is.

We are no where near the Bama's and OSU's of the world when it comes to "roster mgt" and we still honor every offer we make with a 4 year commitment.Have a LONG way to go.

Butch can build a roster. He is and has done it. Period. And although he is an over-signing mother fricker he has NFL talent scattered throughout the roster. So he has the pieces.
What he does with them however remains to be seen. He had nowhere to go but up but we'll see if he fields at least a good football team. I won't bet against him but I'm not sold on him yet.

Can you add MO numbers as well.

Last I check, Butch and Ritch are not Pinkle. And I just after making that point.

Talent still needs coaching. FL knows. Is coach Mac the answer for FL? It might be, we shall see what happens this year.

And BTW, Muschamp beat TeN and GAg last year.
