Also keep in mind Charles Johnson had a sack every post season game (3 sacks) and a forced fumble despite splitting time between Jared Allen/Ealy
Not unreasonable to think Johnson wasn't 100%healthy this year until playoffs given he was on the IR for 8 weeks.
Johnson is only 29, it isn't unreasonable to expect 6-7 Sacks and be a rotation with some rookies. Also, he is a team captain, probably would bean asset to develop said rookies

Johnson has a $15 million cap hit next year.
The Panthers can save $11 million if they cut him post June 1st.
He aint' gonna make it at $15 million for 6-7 sacks.
