First off
Second, I've seen the kid play in person several times between the playoffs and just ole 7v7. He is the real deal.

Is about as close to a Tennessee Lock as you can get.

Why are you laughing at a true statement?

We're still waiting to hear your response. If you want to continue to act like a troll you can go frick yourself on your own board.

You can eat a bag of dicks on this board if you think I'm trolling.
But to answer your question, the kid just completed his freshmen year of high school. He can't even drive yet with passengers in his car. So many things can change between now and 2018 signing day. The Vols could win two natty's or have a losing record for three straight years. You just never know. And I can't tell you how many times I've seen a kid grow up a fan of one program and sign with another. It's nothing personal against UT, I would say the same damn thing if he grew up a UGA fan and played at Prince Avenue Christian School.

I know his parents from undergrad at ETSU. First, they were both pretty damn smart...so chances are, the kid will be o.k. academically. Second, they were both very good people (and I believe that they would have a pretty well grounded kid). Third, his parents are East Tennessee Natives...so it isn't out of the question to think the kid grew up a UT fan.
I think his dad went to Science Hill (Johnson City, TN) and his mom went to Chuckey Doak (just outside of Greeneville, TN). The one thing I remember about his dad was he came in as a Freshman around 6'6 or 6'7 and was very athletic.

I hear you. I'm just saying it's a long way away from his signing day and I see tons of kids that grow up fans of one school and sign with another. And don't get me wrong, I think UGA is probably out of it do to who they have committed right now.

They said stupid statements so I replied the same way.

Stupid statements about saying a kid is a Vol lock because his parents are from N.East Tennessee, known Vol fans, and the kid has named Tennessee his leader and admitted Tennessee has always been his team growing up... on a Tennessee board?
Is any kid a "Lock" in rectuiting? No. But this one has said everything we could ask for. If you don't like facts I don't know what to tell you other than the sour grapes are strong with you.

Speaking of facts...you must have missed every one I posted in this thread if you think it's sour grapes.

Doesn't get more Vol than that.

Porter, I think you'll see confidence from us on kids like this because Tennessee has done a great job with landing long term commits when they have any sort of connection to UT. The Berry twins were born UT locks although they were silent commits for so long we started to wonder if they were coming (Eric did the same thing tho - didn't commit publicly until later). Kahlil McKenzie's recruitment made us nervous because we needed him so badly and he was out in Cali but really there was never any question as to where he was going. Dillon Bates was similar.
While this kid isn't a legacy, he's a fan with parents who would consider it a dream come true to watch their kid lead the Vols. That situation with the no 1 player is an absolute dream come true for a recruiter and one where UT won't drop the ball. It's a big advantage that we as fans should be happy as hell about.

I'm not saying don't be excited or even that he won't go to UT. It's just way to early to call a kid a lock, especially one that highly rated.
