Clemson can, for like 120 years or however long its been. sure some others can too

Clemson is no Athens.

Yea, you have the mountains sure.... but you don't have the culture, history, art, etc. that Athens has.

But for only 120 years. Athens and UGA have existed for almost as long as the country has. Most all of the private institutions that predated UGA either exist in cities like Boston or Hartford or were founded in pre-established towns.
