The SEC-E should field better teams then.
you haven't beaten an East team in 3 years and it's only because you played the basketball school at that, with Tenn, FL and USC coming up it could be a long time before you win another East game, maybe take care of your own house huh?

Missouri doesn't belong in the SEC
Mizzou is 4-1 against A&M so far this decade.
2-1 against A&M since joining the SEC
3-1 in the "terrifying" College Station a.k.a. CoMo South
Mizzou has been to the SECCG 2x more than A&M
Who's more worthy of being in the SEC?

Meh. Most Mizzou fans would never whine about a lack of respect. It's when the team is respected and predicted to do well that we fall on our face. We'd rather skate by under the radar until November.

Valid point but everyone makes it sound like Bama & Auburn had a 24 point lead in the first 3 minutes of the game.
I can't remember the detail of the Missouri / Auburn game, but in the Missouri / Alabama game it never really felt like Missouri was a threat. They seemed very over matched from the first drive on. I do remember being annoyed at what seemed like 3 or 4 Mauk chuck it up for grabs busted plays that one particular Missouri receiver seemed to get that kept Missouri hanging around. Still it never felt like Missouri was in the game.

We were down 3 going into the 4th.

I sort of had the same feeling but kept thinking that MAYBE we could have a sustained drive to keep our D off the field for more than 2 minutes.

as a bama fan, I don't really blame you for seeing it that way, after all how many teams really beat you at the line of scrimmage? and we knew Mauk wasn't having the kind of year to just shred you with his arm. we've never had the brainpower to engineer a victory with gameplanning, esp against a top power house team, with Gary Pinkel we've beaten a #1 team exactly 1 time and that was a mildly overated OU.. with Odom coming on board at DC I'm expecting a moderately better scheme, we simply have to have better X's and O's to take on the likes of you guys.

fact: the media picked us middle pack East two years in a row
fact: the media was proven wrong 2 years in a row
so pointing out those 2 facts is "whining"? ok

I see a lot of whining on this board. Heard a Mizzou fan on Fienbaum the other day- dam near worked himself to tears. Getting beat 34-0 by an SECE opponent (at home) and losing to Indiana (at home) certainly doesn't help the "respect" argument. I think they are quite good, play above their weight, but are not (and likely will never be) a true SEC and National power.
Another arrogant Georgia fan. Try not to lose to Florida again.

I do have respect for what Missouri has done since joining the conference. I especially don't see how eastern division fans can talk shite about them when they have won the division over your team in 2 out of their 3 years

that and most of the noise coming out of your Division is from the natural "swine" state..

Here is the simple fact of the matter...
We won't ever get any and it doesn't matter what we do. We could win the SEC this year and it would be "luck" or the "entire SEC would be down" or some other variation of the bullshite nonsense that is currently used to minimize our program.
We ARE disrespected. Plain as day. It used to bother me. Now, I really don't GAF. I'll just enjoy the wins.

I'm not worried about respect...however you define or quantify it. I'm just glad to be playing competitive football in the best conference.

Bama was clearly the better team and deserved to win, but consider this...
We did lose our best player in the first quarter and there was a terrible blown fumble call to the end the first half that was a huge swing (the game was 14-3 at that point, and Bama goes in for a TD opening the game up) we did cut the lead to 21-13 late in the 3rd Q but it was all Bama from that point on.
