Are you talking about television revenue?

Of course. What would I be talking about, Playoff Revenue?

Why are you comparing Tier 1-3 TV payouts for SEC teams with Tier 1-2 (and excluding Tier 3) for Big 12 teams?

Because only two Big 12 teams get anything worth a damn just from Tier 3. The rest have to package their Tier 4 with their Tier 3 and pray to God someone will throw a couple million at them for it.

I mean, that is the whole point. The Big 12 doesn't have a conference network so the only program GUARANTEED to make SEC money is Texas, and only if the LHN continues to exist. The LHN existing keeps a Big 12 Network from existing, so at most that $10 million dollar mark gets cut down by a million or two for A&M.

It is hard to even guess that though, when program like WVU have to bundle all this other crap with their Tier 3 (crap we get paid for outside of the conference in the SEC too) to get it sold. At the end of the day a WVU might be making the whole 10 million more in the SEC, because they could sell things like radio rights separately from the Tier 3 PPV level games.

While that's not exactly true (Kansas gets $6 million - $7 million from Time Warner for television only),

One of those schools you refer to is Oklahoma, right?

That's a non-Texas school, you fool.

SEC teams get $31 million each for all tiers of TV.

Big 12 teams (on a per-team basis, excluding partial payouts) would receive about $26 million (excluding Tier 3).

That's a difference of $5 million.

All Big 12 schools have Tier 3 TV deals.

More accurate statement: Several Big 12 teams make more in television money than any SEC team, while the rest are slightly below SEC TV payouts.

Any non-delusional, non-aggie fan can clearly see that "The difference between a non-Texas Big 12 team and a SEC team on revenue is almost $10 million a year" is utter horseshite.
