I'm going to be interested in seeing how much players move around in formations. For the most part with CEJ, you kind of knew where people were going to line up with maybe Therezie moving around some. This scheme seems like it would be able to switch the buck side at will (especially if Lawson and Cowart are on the field at the same time.)
EJ playing Cooper man on man with our secondary is all I had to see from him. Muschamp can not be any worse than what we saw the last two years.

he's a great coach. Wouldn't mind, assuming Champ is here for 3+ yrs, TRob being groomed as the next DC.

I am all for Muschamp, but I think some folks have forgotten all the bitchin about him when he was here last time. 2 things in particular:
a. The cornerbacks never looked back for the ball!.
b. UGA drummed us both years he was DC -- it was like he had a mental block with them
I think we are better off with him (no doubt) - I just know people will start bitchin if they feel those 2 things happen again. Of course, all some know how to do is bitch...

This shite drove me insane. Hopefully we have higher quality DB's right now that instinctively do this.

Anomalies, in my opinion. Even when they were here, I feel like I remember them being subpar in fundamentals. At least as far as looking for the ball in the air is concerned.

And, if our linebackers are not one of, if not the best, in the league this year, something is very wrong.
Frost, Cass and Tre should run havoc on the SEC this year. Looking for big things from them

Haven't really heard much about Tre this offseason, which I hope means he will be going in dry this season.

This is stupid
As a team in 2006 we had 10 interceptions and 14 in 2007. Which is pretty much on par with what we've done in most years.

Huh? I understand that Muschamp wasn't necessarily responsible for the talent he had during those seasons. I'm just agreeing with root's statement that during those years, the DB's stared down the receiver and never looked for the ball.

Understood. I'm hoping that Muschamp, given a little bit of time to recruit, can direct some high quality DB's to Auburn. I hope we can compete with the LSU's, Alabama's, and Florida's in the defensive backfield side of recruiting.

if we can just hover around 20-23 ppg defensively we will win alot of games

Well its not like that shite has changed much except for a couple of years. We need to beat those leghumping gumptard wannabes bad this year. I strongly dislike the gawga bullfrogs.
