its awesome that you know how to say thank you. its nice to know that you guys appreciate the awesome thing we did for your program by being the main reason why youre in the conference

There's no shame in in coattailing. Dublya coattailed H.W. Stallings coattailed The Bear. Even Jesus rode the coattails of John the Baptist. I just don't recall him saying thank you to JTB.
So even though it's been said time and again, for you it'll be said once more - thank you.
