Not worried in the slightest.

Just having more family come for it. "Signing Day" in basketball's case is a week-long event, not a one-day event. It's all good.

Ferguson's commitment wasn't exactly normal. probably going 2 b a big ceremony with his entire family wearing BAMA t-shirts

I won't feel comfortable about it until it's official.

I understand the uneasy feeling some of you have regarding Ferguson, because i'd be lying if I said I had absolutely no worries at all, but I feel extremely confident that he will sign his LOI with Alabama soon enough.
Also, a player this highly rated waiting a few days to make some sort of a special announcement that will have many more eyeballs on it than it would have had if he had just signed on the first day, is a huge bonus for Alabama basketball. Signing Ferguson is so much more than signing a 5* kid. He is literally the first big mark that Avery has put on his new program and is the foundation of Avery's tenure here.
I wouldn't be shocked if him waiting to have a major announcement was a little bit of Avery's idea in the first place. Let's get as many people as possible see a MAJOR prospect choose Alabama basketball over the Kansas' of the world. Marketing 101 is at play here imo.

A big event is good for us. Any publicity is a good thing IMO.

Didn't think from that perspective, so it is a plus. Just never know with big time recruits who always have someone else in their ear, persuading them to go elsewhere.
Of course some crazy shite might happen and he and Bolden sign on the same day :hope:

I saw Eubanks signed with A&M. What was the deal with him and why he couldn't get in at Bama?
Posted on 11/12/15 at 2:57 pm to Teague
Just wasn't cleared by the NCAA. Which fricking sucks, because we beat out Kansas for him.
Posted on 11/12/15 at 7:13 pm to Gary Busey
But why did he end up at A&M?
Posted on 11/12/15 at 7:43 pm to Teague
Addendum: if the NCAA didn't clear him, does the signing with A&M mean anything at all?

The way I heard it was that he was still waiting from the NCAA. Alabama admissions denied him entrance. but I don't get why he couldn't have come here following his NCAA clearance.

I'm assuming after we got Davis to commit, Eubanks no longer fit into our future plans?

Just a thought here, but could he be holding out trying to get Bolden to come to Bama and do a double signing event ? Might not happen, but that might be a thought he or coach Avery has. Keeping the pressure on so to speak.
Posted on 11/12/15 at 9:07 pm to Tuskkman
That could be a possibility, which would result in a huge day for Alabama and coach Avery.

That would almost be unfathomable for an Alabama basketball fan.
