This was the only thing that recently disappointed me. His HS coach said he was 6'11 with no shoes (In bball, that makes him a legit 7-footer), but after seeing him next to Jimmie that was obviously fabricated. He looked a TAD shorter than Jimmie who's 6'10" so his 6'9" listed height is probably more accurate. Regardless his athletic ability makes him play like a 7-footer.

Hmm for some reason I'm not really excited about hall or neither do I expect that much from him...No way I see him being close to Taylor. I think CAJ just wants the guys to compete until the start of the season.

I think Taylor is going to be the starter and the better player this year because of his experience and bigger base. My excitement for Hall is more for his future than it is for this year.

Edit: Don't mistake my excitement for Hall as being a knock on Jimmie. I've defended and even vouched for him when people claimed he had a "terrible" offensive game. He was misused in HS and has been under-utilized under Grant. I just think Hall has an even higher ceiling because of his athletic ability.

You are right. Taylor has some potential that a lot of people don't realize. Not saying he's a lotto pick or anything, but he should surprise some people this year.

I really like Jimmie and believe he will continue to improve each year. Would be a solid pro prospect if he had a bit more speed. IMO

It will be interesting to see how Hall develops. He is a good athlete to be that size.

When will we know who he picks? I've never followed basketball recruiting closely enough to know the rules.

The early signing period runs from November 11th-18th. Bolden claims he won't be signing early so there's really no time table for him to pick someone. Hopefully our 3 commits sign this week though.

@TheRecruitScoop: RT @GiveNGobball: Bruno Fernando, a class of 2016 center from Montverde Academy (FL), has picked up an offer from Alabama.

I don't know what color the other kid is, but Watford is black

Seems like a rarity in Mt Brook. .3% are African Americans. Lol

Already looking at 2019 grads? Wish Bama would head to North Alabama and check out Hazel Green freshman Kira Lewis.
Leading scorer in the season opener tonight with 21pts,9 or 10 assists and a couple of shot blocks over Huntsville HS.
Kid is smooooooth.
