I do believe he planned on returning to Auburn all along, even when he accepted the Arkansas State job. We'll never know but I think he wanted Gene Chizik to fail and I think that's one reason he left Auburn in the first place. It just happened sooner than he thought it would. JMHO. So you think it's a coincidence that Auburn hired Malzahn hours after Arkansas hired Bielema? Were they waiting on Bielema to tell them 'NO'?
