Ok, I'm now an Eddy Lacy fan.

Just watched a great piece on ESPN2 about him building his parents a home. Very nice young man and a hell of a football player.

They lost their home to Katrina and moved into a single-wide trailer in Geismer. He promised them he would get them something better. He's a well spoken and humble young man. It was a touching story.

Lacy is a great back. A couple of years ago when I was a Falcons fan I was hoping he'd play for the birds.

Well he couldn't be in a better place than Green Bay. Solid OL and NFL's best QB. I was really glad when he was drafted by the Packers. He's definitely my favorite Bama NFL player.

I heard he gave them a nice used Dodge Charger as well.
