They said on golf channel, that an average golfer would shoot 25 to 40 strokes higher than their handicap on this course.

That's like Tigers assertion than an 8 handicapper couldn't break 100 at Bethpage a few years ago. Never underestimate a weekend warriors ability to get out of trouble! Burns up greens and hard fairways is the norm for my home course...

I bet I'd get a heck of a rollout on my over the top fade drive in those conditions...

Augusta National golf course was laid on top of the site of an old indigo plantation turned plant/flower nursery beside a natural meandering creek.

Chambers Bay is a gimmick built on top of an abandoned gravel/sand mine next to some train tracks. And will be a landfill in 20 years.

Just thinking out loud here.
