I don't get the chest beating on a 2nd tier LB in a weak 2016 in-state class.

Apparently not only did he recruit at LSU, but he had a style of doing so by position. We better give him another raise until he finds out that we paid for only part of his skillset. We didn't think we got any recruiting in the package when we offered him that first deal.

He's a lazy recruiter. He got a kid from his home state. Probably visited the kid then headed to his ranch. And it's a kid with zero interest from UT, UGA, USCe, Clemson or any other big school in the area. Like I said, welcome to John Chavis recruiting. Our best LB right now was recruited by Brick Haley as a DE.

We're pretty deep everywhere but LB.
Eta: We didn't sign a single LB recruit this past cycle. The year before that we signed 2. The year before that 1.
