I don't either.
Apparently if someone very close to you, like a brother, does something exceptional that makes you very proud, you're supposed to call them Monica.
Maybe spur will explain.

Killerfrog is so hoping we didn't get very many tickets, y'all should pop over there and read some, it is entertaining

I started a roll cal on TA. In just a few short hours its up to 92 for Sat & 111 for Sun. You have to imagine we'll have over 1k each day no big deal. Add that into 600 per NCAA. At a minimum we'll have 1600. If we only reach capacity it'll be 35%. I think they said on killer they've had around 6k before. Worst case we only have 25% of the fans there.

I was at the ticket office this morning at 7:45. There was a line of about 2 dozen Frog fans (no maroon in sight) that was a mixture of people picking up already purchased tickets and others (like me) hoping something would be available.
Right after I arrived the guy who was running the will call tent last weekend came out and said all tickets (reserved & GA) were bought up by season ticket holders and Frog Club members and that nothing else would be on sale this morning. I asked about the possibility of a wait list in the even that more GA tickets were released and he said it wasn't an option at this time.

Killerfrogs is indeed salty AF

All the Ag's had to set up frog club accounts to order from the link. It was free to do. So technically they did sell to Frog club members...

My favorite comment:
He is so right, TCU fans are so naive. Remember the Mr. WRTS thing?
quote:
You're the kind of fan TCU loves. Blind, naive trust.
Aggies had the link and code posted on TexAgs before half the frogs had even opened their emails. Aggies shouldn't have any of the grandstand tickets except for the 600 TCU is required to give them, but I can't for the life of me figure out why TCU made it so easy for the Aggies to grab up all the GA tickets. Every Aggie I know had purchased all the ones they wanted by Tuesday afternoon using the "secret code" that del conte tweeted out.
Just doesn't make sense to me. Now passive TCU fans and students that assumed they could wait and get GA tickets whenever are spazzing out Bc they now have no access to tickets.

I have now heard two radio stations in DFW talking about the Ticket coup. 105.3 the fan this morning was laughing their butts off. Said stuff like this is what makes college sports so much fun. The Ticket yesterday was talking about it too.

Tbird, their fans suck!
For example, I went and lurked there all yesterday because I expected some meltdown. And I got a little, but I was kinda disappointed. But it wasn't because there wasn't a meltdown, it is because their fans suck!
They are all on there today bitching about not getting tickets or the whole ordeal. A whole day later than a fan who is tuned in should have been bitching.
It is just like WRTS thing, when they figured out months later he trademarked that. I make fun of some fans for being casual/naive, but TCU takes it to an extreme. It is almost like sports aren't a disproportionately large influence on their lives! That fanbase certainly doesn't deserve the success their teams are having.
What that means is that our little "trick" was useless. Sure we bought some tickets before the non-connected TCU fan could, but quite honestly without that code we still sell it out off of their website in like 10 minutes that morning like it was an Apple Watch or something. Our fanaticism is on another PLANET from what they provide, and we would have blown them off the map even without that mistake.
Takes away some of the fun. Like putting a kick me sign on your friend one day and then realizing the sign is still on his back when he wears the same shirt a week later. Its just sad.
Makes me appreciate the SEC. An equivalent USC would be tuned in and they would be PISSED.
