I think of it as social rubbernecking. Like a car wreck, you want to look away but you can't help yourself.
This is a life wreck in many of our opinions and we take it in by figuratively peeking through the fingers of our hands that cover our faces.

By public you mean the the ones who let themselves be manipultaed so easily?
I have no interest in the current reality show he is on, much less any other realty show in his new girly attire.

I'm perfectly content in not looking at this, and really I wasn't even going to comment until I saw some of the reactions in the thread. ''(S)he wants attention, let's give it to them.''
I guess this just doesn't shock me enough, but I think the culprit is my age. I didn't really know much about him.
