Inside the play: the offense implodes against Ole Miss
I don't know who Coach Morris is, but he does a great job breaking down the final 3 plays IMO. Cliff notes:
1st play - screen play that should've gone nowhere because Taylor messes up but TJ makes 3 guys miss and turns it into a positive play. Highlights how slippery TJ could be
2nd play - Arie and Bozeman whiff on their blocks forcing Blake from the pocket which causes OJ to lose leverage and hold. TJ failed to help out OJ with his man
3rd play - based on the coverage and play call, pass should've gone to White instead of OJ. Unlikely OJ knew that the other DB was behind him which explains why he didn't attempt to box him out
Really reinforces the notion that it largely comes down to OL play. Having a back-up at Center didn't help but that's no excuse. Hoping Cristobal demonstrates that he's not just a great recruiter but also a great OL coach this year

Morris didn't identify TJ as doing anything wrong on this play; in fact he said TJ was right where he was supposed to be: behind OJ ready to help should he be beat.
Morris placed the blame on Bozeman and Arie for missing their blocks, with a little bit of the blame on OJ for not having the presence of mind to release when his man started to pull away.

Not explicitly but he said "TJ's whole job is to help OJ when this guy beats him". TJ was in good position to help but he turns head towards the the incoming DTs (understandably) just as OJ is losing contain on his man which prevents TJ from being of any assistance and thus failing his assignment on the play. Like OJ's hold., it was an unfortunate effect of the missed blocks by Bozeman and Arie

But OJ's man didn't beat him. By they way the blocking schemes were designed, TJ had nothing to do in this play. By the time any of the linemen, TJ or OJ realized Blake was scrambling, OJ's positioning relative to Blake had TJ boxed out from being able to throw a block or otherwise help out in anyway.

I kinda disagree with his evaluation of the last play. I think the play was supposed to go to oj, but i think white was supposed to go deep to the right corner to draw off the cb instead of stopping. Sims never even looks at white, which makes no sense if hes the primary read. Also he talks about if oj knows the cb is behind him he would box out and catch the ball, but why not go fight for it anyway? Even if the play is busted, you have to go for the ball in this situation, with the game on the line. If Oj jumps a foot off the ground here it doesnt matter where the cb is, oj has the ball. Even as the play unfolds it hits him in the hands.
