This thread is awful, and you should feel bad about yourself for starting it.

Damn son...you're reaching.

That isn't the Gov's mansion. That is in Montgomery. This is a beach house they used to use. I'm glad it hasn't been fixed up seeing as the state is broke

Thanks for your outstanding attempt to draw attention away from my shitty Arkansas thread. It's not just anyone who will create something this pathetic just to jump on the grenade for another poster.

Appreciate it, Man.

That is a shame they atleast won't return it to the original property owner, especially if it's just going to sit there and rot. I'm sure he could get a lot for that property

But I agree terrible troll idiot boy

So a state government not throwing money at a beachfront mansion when there is a deficit is a bad thing?

Have no fear. Our governor continues to live in the lap of luxury while trying to raise taxes to support him and the senate's new pay raises.

Alabama Governor's mansion

Swimming pool shaped like the state of Alabama (kind of)

Shades of "Gone with the Wind" staircase

quote:

The interior features 17 primary rooms, with a double staircase leading from the entrance hall to the second level. A formal garden, surrounded by a high ornamental wall, originally covered the entire rear grounds of the property, which extends through the city block to South Court Street. These grounds now feature gardens, a large pergola, a swimming pool in the shape of the state, a guest house, a stone grotto water feature, and tennis courts. The entire property is surrounded by a wrought iron fence, with octagonal guard houses at the main gates.
