IMO, if Bret Bielema stays at Arkansas for a good 20 or 25 more years, I feel confident he will win you guys a national title.
It took him six years to win his first conference title at Wisconsin but once he got things rolling it was tough to stop. I'm confident he will do the same thing at Arkansas.
IMO, Bret is one of the best, if not the best player development head coach in the country.
Good luck to you guys. I do think you will get a national title with him. It will take time though.

I'm more interested in the angle of these tornadoes in the area right now than whatever angle you going for here.

While I appreciate your sentiments, I think we're past the days of any coach staying at an institution that long.

He learned from the best at Kansas State under Snyder. It's really obvious with his emphasis on player development
I definitely think he's a national championship caliber coach

I agree that Bret is one of the best. I don't think it takes 20-25 years. He needs 2-3 more classes to get his depth and then they will start rolling. His staff hires is what has me most impressed.

It won't take 20.
I agree, Bret is a good coach. Very happy to have him.

Is diabetes going to be cured in the next 20 years? Otherwise there's no way he lasts that long.
Also there's only one year left until Iowa fires Ferentz and if daddy comes calling then Bielema is going to answer.

For being a texass fan posing as a Nebraska fan posting on a SEC board, you sure do start a lot of threads

your shtick is old. He's not going to Iowa - he came to coach in the SEC.

Then I guess Arkansas will have to then call one of their native sons home.
Plenty of talent to choose from for Arkansas.

It's not a schtick. Anybody with a brain and no pig colored glasses can see its a logical step.
He didn't come to Arkansas because he thought it was the long term solution for his career, it was the short term solution to his problem of working under an asshat like Barry Alvarez. It's also frowned upon in the Big Ten for coaches to take jobs at other conference schools.
Only way he doesn't end up at Iowa is if they don't offer.

You mean like another SEC coach who would be elsewhere tomorrow if he received an offer he's begged for twice before?
